June 2005 - My '62 E-Type |

It is still a strange feeling to
go back to The Netherlands for vacations. Years ago, leaving that country
represented the 'holiday feeling'. Now it is nice to go back there, trying to
work as little as possible, and enjoy life. Which is really easy if
you happen to arrive in the 10 days of beautiful weather the country gets
every year. One of the big joys is going for a spin in my '62 Jaguar E-type,
which came out of a 3-year restoration just before I left the country, and is
now patiently waiting for its yearly 100 miles... if the weather is good
enough. So, next time any of you guys ask:
'Do you ever do cars?', I won't have to answer
anymore: 'Not as long as you don't make me!' Best,
Other Photos of the Month: The 'photo of the
month' is not meant as something pretentious, it is not even chosen by any
jury. It could be an advertising photo I did, or a photo for a magazine or
record cover. Something telling you of a journey I made or the city I'm in.
Or a snapshot of my girlfriend. The only criterium it has to meet is that it
was made in the last month. And that I believe it is worth bothering you
